Our National Office is tasked
to assist our classes and churches in accomplishing common or joint
denominational projects and activities. Recently and more importantly it was mandated to monitor the progress of accomplishing our 3-year goals.
The National Office is managed by the National Director.
He links with the six classes through their respective liaison persons.
The National Office stresses that it does not do the work
of the classes and churches. It serves by assisting the churches
to accomplish the goals and programs through its defined strategic tasks, namely:
- Informing and Promoting
- Supporting and Assisting
- Coordinating and Collaborating
The goal of the National Office is to help enable the churches
realize the denomination's vision of calling people to obedience by proclaiming God's kingdom.
Three Year Goals (2008-2011)
The Board of Trustees defined six priority goals of the denomination in its Strategic Planning Meeting last April. These goals were set to be accomplished in three years beginning in 2008.
The goals were distilled from the responses of members from the six classes who were asked about what they hoped should be the direction and priorities of the denomination. These responses were collected during their respective pre-strategic planning done earlier this year.
The churches will be challenged to do their part and work together in achieving these goals:
Goal 1: GROWTH
To increase the attendance of churches by at least 30% and their membership by at least 10% each year so that at the end of 2011, the size of CRCP will be at least doubled.
Goal 2: REVITALIZATION
To help our 46 organized and 27 organizing churches to achieve and maintain healthy status.
Goal 3: PRODUCTION OF PRIORITY MATERIALS
1. To produce materials in the following areas:
a. Evangelism (Evangelistic Bible Studies and Tracts)
b. Discipleship (Lessons)
c. Chuch Membership (Lessons)
d. Leadership (Manuals for Elders, Deacons and Consistory)
e. Sunday School (Pre-school to Adults)
2. To produce (re-activate) a quarterly CRCP newsletter
Goal 4: LEADERSHIP
For the Reformed Ministry Academy to have at least ten graduates and five centers.
Goal 5: MISSIONS
To recognize/send at least 2 cross-cultural missionaries per year or 6 missionaries by the end of 2011.
Goal 6: DIACONAL
To establish a denominational Disaster Response Coordinating Team that includes the operation of at least 3 warehouses of mercy.
